How PicoPDF handles data and the choices available to you.

Provider and contact

PicoPDF for Android is currently provided by Mustafa Oğuz BARAN. For support, privacy questions or a data request, email contact@fogeto.com.

02

Documents, scanning and local history

PicoPDF requires no developer account or cloud document archive. Reading, compression, merging, splitting, page organization and photo-to-PDF processing run on your device. The app uses Android’s system file pickers and does not upload documents, photos, filenames or finished PDFs to a developer server.

The document scanner is supplied by Google Play services, operates on-device and may download or update its scanner component. PicoPDF receives scans you approve and does not request broad camera access for this flow. Outputs are saved to your chosen destination. Temporary working files are removed after processing. A small recent-results library is stored locally; removing a library entry does not automatically delete a PDF saved elsewhere.

03

Optional usage analytics

Firebase Analytics collection is off by default. You can allow it from the optional invitation or Settings and turn it off without losing PDF tools. This choice is separate from ads and product notifications. App events describe fixed screens, tools, operation outcomes, allowlisted failure categories, sharing-menu launches and library actions.

PDF contents, photos, filenames, document links, page counts, file sizes, support text and notification tokens are not included in custom events. Google may additionally process SDK session information, app version, device information, an app-instance identifier and approximate region derived from IP. PicoPDF does not assign a custom user ID; Analytics advertising-ID collection and advertising storage, user-data and personalization permissions remain disabled. These data are not promised to be anonymous.

Turning measurement off stops later collection and resets local Analytics instance data. It does not delete records Google has already processed. The usage-consent record is excluded from Android backup and device transfer. The developer views aggregate, app-specific reports; documents are not available through those reports.

04

Optional product-update notifications

Product updates are optional and do not affect PDF tools. Firebase Cloud Messaging starts when you enable updates and Android allows notifications. Google may process an installation identifier, messaging token, app version and service metadata to deliver app and language-group announcements. Language groups select the message language, not precise location. This feature does not upload documents or create an account.

Turn product updates off in Settings to stop local notification display. Messaging auto-initialization is disabled and existing topic subscriptions are removed when possible; cleanup may need an internet connection. Opting out does not immediately delete identifiers retained by Google. Notification preferences and duplicate-message history are local. This feature does not add notification-click analytics or BigQuery delivery export. Acceptance by a messaging provider does not prove delivery to a device.

05

Advertising and privacy choices

PicoPDF uses Google AdMob for banners and interstitial ads and Google UMP for privacy choices. Depending on your region and choices, Google and its partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, app/ad interactions and diagnostics for advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention. Where required, the consent flow runs before ads are requested. Available choices can be reviewed in Settings → Privacy choices. Declining personalization may still allow limited or non-personalized ads.

06

Support and optional reviews

Report a problem opens a draft in your email app. It can include the app and Android versions and device manufacturer/model; it does not automatically send the email or attach documents, photos, filenames, document links, logs or unique device identifiers. Review and edit it before sending. Send support and identifiable correspondence-deletion requests to contact@fogeto.com.

Google Play handles optional ratings and reviews. A public review may display Google profile information; you can manage it through Google Play or your Google account. PicoPDF does not receive review content through the review API and does not require a review to use PDF tools.

07

Storage and deletion

Local history can be cleared in PicoPDF. Clear app storage or uninstall the app to remove private local data. Saved shared-storage documents remain until you delete them. Usage-consent, notification, experience and recent-result preferences are excluded from Android backup and device transfer. Google retains its service data under its own policies and your choices. There is no developer account to delete.

08

Children and security

PicoPDF is a general utility and is not directed to children under 13. File access is limited to selected items, document processing is local and cleartext network traffic is blocked. Google services use encrypted transport. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

09

Policy updates

We may update this policy when the app, its service providers or data practices change. The published page will show its effective update date.
